The Rhyme & Flow Arts Team consists of artists who work in the community and perform in the UK and abroad. All artists have had experience and training in the arts, leading workshops & working in the community.
The Rhyme & Flow Arts Team provide arrange of opportunities in oral cultural arts, for the community.

Learn New Rhythm & Rhyme Techniques To Make Your Writing For Performance Swing
Workshop Summary
This is an introductory workshop for individuals who want to learn different rhythm and rhyme techniques. Participants will learn and find out how they can incorporate these techniques into there performance style and dialogues which includes poetry & storytelling.
What makes this workshop different from other performance writing workshops is the inclusive opportunity to learn basic percussive techniques which are used around the world in music.
By using all these techniques participants will be able to add more edge to there performance and make there words jump off the page.
Highlights from the program
· Discover different rhythm and rhyme techniques from around the world
· Participate in a Stomp inspired performance
· Discover different cultures by participating and discussing the arts in hand drumming, percussions, poetry & storytelling

Level- The workshop is suitable for the beginner ,the advance writer or for the individual who is looking to take part in a creative class for pleasure.
The workshop is based around the creative process to encourage ideas to inspire creativity.
Venue -TBC,We hire out several venues within the communities we work in, which have easy access to transport services and links, to host the workshops, so we can provide an efficient service. Workshop venues will be confirmed along with the start date of the workshop.

With Poetry & Spoken Words
Workshop Summary
This is an introductory workshop which focuses on performance poetry.
The performance poetry scene in the UK has seen an increase over the last 2 decades of new writers getting involved in performing this is due to more people finding out about the benefits of expressing there self though writing and finding communities who are willing to listen to there material.
Participants will learn a variety of skills and take part in a range of excises which will help and encourage ideas so they can develop there own unique voice and performance style.
